Job Summary

The Associate Marketing Manager supports the day-to-day execution and operational management of loyalty, private label credit card (PLCC), promotional execution and gift card marketing programs across stores, e-commerce, app, email, and direct mail in the U.S. and Canada. This offshore role requires working U.S. business hours and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to brief campaigns, create and test promotional offers, manage assets and approvals, support store and digital execution, and oversee key operational processes that ensure campaigns launch accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotion Setup: Gather and organize campaign requirements, including offer details, valid dates, inclusions and exclusions, audience segmentation, campaign goals, stackability rules, country applicability, code type, terms and conditions, and payment type requirements when applicable. Create and set up promotional offers in required systems, including DMS and SFCC, with separate execution for U.S. and Canada offers when needed. Generate single-use codes for targeted campaigns or coordinate multi-use barcode requests for store scanning, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Coordinate On Demand Marketing (ODM) setup for offers printed at point of sale and support promotional needs for store closings, new store openings, grand openings, store-only offers, e-commerce-only offers, and trigger-based campaigns.
  • Creative Briefings and Workflow Coordination: Brief campaigns into marketing workflow systems with sufficient lead time for copy development, legal review, compliance review, creative development, coupon creation, and execution by channel teams. Request coupon creation, audience segmentation, and coupon assignment for campaigns in partnership with CRM data operations and other supporting teams. Manage day-to-day execution of loyalty, PLCC, and gift card campaigns across stores, e-commerce, app, email, and direct mail channels in the U.S. and Canada.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Execute end-to-end testing for loyalty offers, including points- and discount-based campaigns, PLCC offers, and all single-use code offers using test and production codes as appropriate. Document testing results and certify that discounts calculate correctly, exclusions function as intended, and offers do not stack improperly before launch.
  • Compliance Submission and Approvals: Coordinate legal, loyalty team, and PLCC compliance approvals for campaigns, offers, and related marketing materials as required to support timely and accurate launches.
  • Marketing Assets and Tracking: Track, manage, and maintain marketing assets, promotion plans, briefs, and process trackers for loyalty, credit card, and gift card programs across both digital and physical channels.
  • Operational Management: Manage monthly PLCC store goals and load finalized goal files into required systems supporting store communication and performance tracking. Support operational processes including billing, purchase order creation, invoice tracking, marketing fund management, card inventory management, gift card fulfillment to stores, and brochure order fulfillment when needed.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with marketing, creative, copy, legal, compliance, operations, finance, CRM, e-commerce, store teams, and external vendors to ensure successful campaign execution and ongoing process improvement.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, campaign execution, loyalty, CRM, retail marketing, credit card marketing, gift card programs, or a related operational marketing function.
  • Experience supporting multi-channel campaigns across stores, e-commerce, app, email, or direct mail preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry, campaign setup, testing, approvals, and execution.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, legal, compliance, finance, operations, CRM, e-commerce, and store teams.
  • Comfort working with campaign trackers, reporting, billing processes, purchase orders, and inventory-related tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and Competencies

  • Knowledge of loyalty programs, promotional offer structures, and retail customer marketing.
  • Understanding of PLCC marketing processes, legal review workflows, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with promotional setup, single-use code generation, coupon creation, POS-related execution, or marketing workflow systems.
  • Familiarity with tools and processes used for campaign setup, testing, tracking, and channel coordination, such as marketing briefing or e-commerce systems.
  • Ability to analyze campaign execution details, identify issues before launch, and support process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
