About The Role
Let’s be #BrilliantTogether About the role We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our Brussels office on a minimum 12‑month fixed‑term contract as maternity cover. This is a hands‑on, international role within a global HR team, supporting employees and managers across Belgium, France, and Spain. You will act as a trusted HR partner, contributing across the full employee lifecycle and working closely with colleagues across EMEA, APAC, and the US in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities HR Advisory & Business Partnering Provide HR guidance to managers and employees on policies, employment legislation, and people matters Manage day‑to‑day HR queries and handle complex employee relations cases in line with Belgian and French labour law Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding Partner with the EMEA Recruitment team to support local hiring needs Coordinate onboarding processes across Belgium, France, and Spain Manage offboarding activities, including exit interviews and administrative close‑out Employee Lifecycle & Performance Support performance management cycles and employee development initiatives Collaborate with global HR teams to ensure local alignment of performance and promotion frameworks HR Operations & Compliance Provide payroll inputs and partner closely with Payroll and Finance teams Maintain accurate employee data in Workday Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, GDPR requirements, and Belgian social regulations Projects & Global Collaboration Contribute to EMEA HR initiatives, including well‑being, culture, and engagement programmes Support organisational change or M&A‑related activities when required Requirements Minimum 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist in Belgium and/or France, ideally in an international environment Strong knowledge of Belgian and/or French employment law and HR practices Fluency in French and English (mandatory) Proven experience handling complex employee relations matters Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with high integrity and discretion Strong technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Workday experience is an asset) #LI-AV1 # MIDSENIOR #HR What You Can Expect from Us At ISS STOXX, our people are our driving force.
