Your responsibilities

As a Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist, you will establish the procurement function behind an innovative ClimateTech product and create scalable supplier structures for international growth.

• Supplier Network: Build and develop an international supplier network for mechanical, electrical and electronic components.
• Strategic Sourcing: Identify, qualify and onboard suppliers that meet technical, commercial and quality requirements.
• Supplier Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate supplier contracts, pricing and commercial agreements.
• Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into procurement strategies.
• Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance, delivery reliability, lead times and quality standards.
• Cost Optimisation: Identify cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality and supply security.
• Prototype & Scale Up: Support prototype builds and prepare procurement structures for serial production.
• Process Development: Design scalable procurement processes, supplier management standards and purchasing workflows.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with logistics, operations and external manufacturing partners to ensure resilient supply chains.

Your profil as Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Industrial Engineering, Business or a comparable qualification. Equivalent professional experience is equally welcome.
• Several years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
• Experience negotiating with suppliers and building long term supplier relationships.
• Technical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills and a structured way of working.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English ; German is considered a plus.
• High level of ownership with a proactive, hands on mindset.
• Ideally, you also bring experience from manufacturing, industrial products, MedTech, hardware development or other technical environments.
• Experience with ERP systems, startup environments or building procurement structures from scratch is a plus.
