Senior Tax Analyst, Withholding Tax

Amazon is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its Withholding Tax team within the Foreign Reporting Group in our Hyderabad <office.As> a member of the Withholding Tax team, the Tax Analyst will support the global local tax teams on various projects and deliverables to serve our internal customers. Areas of responsibility include compliance, research and analysis. A highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication and time management skills will be successful on this team.Key job responsibilitiesMonthly review of vendor payments for withholding tax assessmentUndertaking withholding tax compliances including payments and withholding tax filingsSupporting on withholding tax considerations for new countries, projects and business linesManaging withholding tax audits - internal and external by tax authorities and statutory auditorsStaying updated on changes in tax laws and implementing necessary adjustments to processes and proceduresUndertaking withholding tax account reconciliations
