Proposal Specialist / Technical Sales Engineer (F/M/D)

Responsibilities

• Review and manage customer enquiries from sales teams and customers.
• Coordinate the quotation and proposal process from enquiry to final offer.
• Define quotation scope and ensure the proposal workflow is initiated and completed effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality, planning, welding, and production departments to develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and outsourced products as part of the proposal process.
• Prepare, compile, and finalize technical and commercial cost estimates and proposals for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and defined guidelines.
• Create, review, and maintain technical drawings and documentation using drafting software to support customer quotations and solution development.
• Ensure timely delivery of quotations while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal and sales support processes.

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or have a similar technical background.
• Have experience within engineering, project management, technical sales, customer fulfilment, or a related technical-commercial role.
• Have experience working with drafting software and technical documentation.
• Have a strong interest in technical products and customer solutions.
• Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Thrive in cross-functional collaboration and enjoy working with colleagues across different disciplines and cultures.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage.
