Echodyne is seeking a Production Control Specialist to join our fast-growing team!
At Echodyne, we believe radar makes the world safer and more secure in the age of autonomy. We are seeking a Production Control Specialist to join our team to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently, and that products are made on time and in full. This includes coordinating, maintaining, communicating, and driving the production schedule to ensure delivery on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will develop and manage production schedules, release work orders, monitor and optimize production workflows, and ensure materials and resources are properly allocated. You will collaborate with various departments like sales, supply chain, quality, material handling, shipping/receiving, and production.
Generate detailed work orders and distribute these orders to the appropriate departments production teams
Monitor the execution of work orders, track completed tasks, and ensure that all necessary data (labor, materials, time) is accurately recorded before closing the orders in the system
Act as a point of contact to coordinate tasks generated by work orders, working with different teams to ensure the efficient execution of each job
Oversee daily production operations, including scheduling, planning, and organizing
Monitor production schedules to ensure that orders are filled on time and in full
Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments as needed
Ensure that regulations and quality standards are met
Train and supervise production team members
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to prevent shortages
Track and report production metrics and performance
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated knowledge of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) or broader Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is essential
- Demonstrated understanding of Material Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, inventory control, purchasing, stockroom operation, shipping/receiving
- Experience utilizing advanced functions & reporting in Microsoft Excel such as V-lookup & pivot tables

- Competency in performing data analysis through data business analytics services (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Proficiency in using NetSuite ERP system
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or industry/military equivalent progressive experience with at least 8 years of experience in materials planning, production planning/scheduling, manufacturing, sourcing, or other supply chain related field
