Supervisor Patient Access - Admitting

The Patient Access Supervisor directs and supervises the Admitting and Communication departmental operation and staff activities including registration of patients, operation of the switchboard and emergency paging systems and the physician answering service. Under the general supervision of the Director the Patient Access Supervisor monitors, supervises and evaluates the activities of departmental staff in the registering of inpatients, outpatients, and emergency room patients, assuring that complete, accurate information is obtained in a courteous and professional manner.
