We now focus on enabling the successful start of production of our Gigafactory in Dunkirk (France). With this facility, our ambition is to ramp-up mass production of low carbon lithium ion batteries to facilitate the decarbonization of European mobility.

We have an exciting opportunity as Mixing Senior Engineer in our Process Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the process of mixing in mass-production environment.

As such, you are responsible for the systems related to Electrode processes at our gigafactory in Dunkirk, France. You will have the opportunity to participate in the launching of our gigafactory and its ramp-up!

Responsibilities

• Support the teams during SOP and ramp-up activities.
• Collaborating with the product engineering team to optimize the mixing process for the electrode design.
• Improving mixing by increasing the level of process automation, which will save capital and operating costs.
• Testing and validating state-of-the-art technologies for use in the mixing process.
• During operation, you will complete root cause investigations into defects in the mixing process.

Requirements - Qualifications and skills

• M.S. in Chemical/Mechanical/ElectricalEngineering or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience working with mixing process.
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience in battery manufacturing
• Strong statistical and data analysis skills with tools e.g. Python, Matlab, and Minitab.
