Metal Worker - Dayshift

For a stable and valued family-owned company in the region, we are looking for a mature Structural Metal Worker / Fitter . As a Structural Metal Worker, you are responsible for the full assembly and custom fitting directly onto the truck chassis: Reading Blueprint Plans & Preparation: You read complex technical drawings and bending diagrams like second nature. You saw, drill, cut, and work with lasers based on these plans. Assembly & Fitting: You assemble parts with precision down to the millimeter. Think of constructing stairs, doors, frames, and specific structures. Metalworking & Bending: You perform the necessary bending and drilling work. Logical reasoning is essential here: when a drawing is challenging, you know exactly how to make the parts fit together seamlessly. Light Welding: A small part of your duties includes MIG/MAG welding (assembling/tack welding). However, the main focus is on total assembly.

Jouw profiel als Constructiemedewerker / Samensteller . Experience & Maturity: You have already gained solid and relevant experience in metal construction, assembly, or fitting (e.g., custom doors, stairs, or structures). Due to the complexity of the work, we are looking for a mature candidate who can work independently. Technical Insight: You excel at reading blueprint drawings, have excellent spatial awareness, and can reason logically. Metalworking Skills: You have experience with various metalworking techniques (drilling, bending, cutting). Experience with or training in MIG/MAG welding is a nice plus, but not a requirement! Language Skills: You communicate fluently in English .
