Power Plant Manager

The Power Plant Manager reports to the Regional Operations Director and is responsible for the overall performance of a simple cycle power generation facility and all final decision making and coordination regarding the power plant - including labor planning and development, maintaining communication with the corporate office and customer, managing vendor relationships, overseeing plant budget performance and finances, and maintenance of the on-site equipment and assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in power generation or heavy industrial plant operations.
• 2+ years experience managing gas turbine (Aeroderivative) plants
• Management of large-scale plant operations preferred.

Requirements

• Preferred knowledge in other languages
• Ability and willingness to live and travel as required within the project country and region
