About The Role

As Communications & Sales Assistant, you will work closely with the Managing Director to support the day-to-day operations of the yoga studio. You will be responsible for customer service, communications, marketing, sales support, event coordination and general administrative tasks. This is a varied role within a small business, requiring excellent organisational skills, initiative and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is highly organised, has strong communication skills and is comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities Customer Service Respond to client enquiries by email in a professional and timely manner. Provide excellent customer service and ensure effective follow-up with prospective and existing clients. Manage client records and bookings through the studio's booking software. Communications Update and maintain the studio website. Create, schedule and publish content for social media platforms. Take photos and videos for marketing and community content. Plan, write and distribute newsletters to the studio mailing list. Coordinate internal communication with the front desk team and yoga teachers. Marketing & Sales Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Plan and coordinate sales promotions together with the Managing Director. Assist with client retention initiatives and partnership opportunities. Use the studio management software to support marketing and sales activities and monitor campaign performance. Operations & Events Coordinate the organisation of workshops, teacher trainings, retreats and community events. Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of future team members. Support the day-to-day organisation and presentation of the studio. Provide general administrative and operational support to the Managing Director as required. Education Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Languages, Social Sciences, Business Administration or a related field. Professional Experience Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position combining communications, customer service, marketing, sales support and administrative coordination. Previous experience within a small business or service-oriented organisation is considered a strong asset. Technical Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good command of French is an asset. Excellent computer skills and confidence using digital tools, including CRM/booking software, Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience managing websites (CMS), email marketing platforms and social media channels. Experience creating digital content, including basic photography and video content for social media. Personal Skills Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively. Proactive, resourceful and capable of working independently. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Commercial mindset with an interest in sales and business development. Ability to communicate professionally with clients, teachers, partners and suppliers. Flexible, reliable and comfortable working in a dynamic small-business environment. Additional Assets Interest in yoga, health and wellbeing. Experience in the organisation of events, workshops or training programmes is an asset. Contract: Fixed-term employment contract (CDD), part-time (22.48 hours per week - 60%). Working hours: Monday to Friday, according to the agreed work schedule (22.48 hours per week). Place of work: The House of Yoga, Rue de la Paix 14, 1050 Ixelles (Brussels). Benefits: Free participation in yoga classes at the studio, subject to availability.
