About The Role

We will be accepting applications through April 28, 2026 or until filled. --- --- --- The Gogo Buyer is responsible for performing NPI planning activities to ensure timely production of assigned assemblies/subassemblies and for performing purchasing activities to ensure receipt of materials that meet the specified requirements. The role involves interacting with suppliers, production, engineering, quality, and logistics to acquire/build product to meet project/production requirements. COME ON BOARD THE GOGO SUPPLY CHAIN TEAM! How will you make a difference? Manage the supply chain, material readiness, and scheduling for new product introductions Follow up with Engineering on the timely release of specifications and with suppliers, Production, and Quality to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet the project schedule Issue and maintain production work orders in the ERP system to enable production of assigned assemblies/subassemblies Create clear-to-build material reports, prioritize material shortages for the purchasing team, and escalate as needed Manage ECO implementation on purchase & production orders. Approve ECOs in PLM software after checking the impact on orders. Select and evaluate suppliers and manage relationships and contracts with assigned suppliers Send RFQs, negotiate prices and terms, issue purchase orders using ERP software, obtain/update delivery dates, and follow-up for on-time delivery Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delivery, and quality Return defective material to supplier and obtain replacement Comply with and contribute to the improvement of processes and procedure Assist Supply Chain organization for assigned special projects Qualifications Associate’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, production planning, engineering, or equivalent work experience 5-7 years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing industry or aviation/industrial products industry 3-5 years of experience in planning/material modules of ERP/MRP software and with PLM software Required Skills, Talents, & Experience Working knowledge of Bills of Materials, engineering change orders, process of implementing ECOs Familiar with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality and process requirements Analytical, able to deal with ambiguity, and work independently with minimal supervision Detail orientation and accuracy are required in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Advanced Excel skills Equal Pay Disclosure(s) Base Pay: 68,000.00 - 85,000.00 USD Annual Target Annual Short-Term Incentive: Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay) Eligible for Incentive Stock Program: Yes Benefits: Gogo offers competitive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage with plans that can fit each employee’s needs.
