Job Type: Full-Time

  • Shift: First Shift | Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-3:00 PM (Overtime and occasional Saturdays required)
  • Starting Pay: From $24.00 per hour (Higher pay available based on experience)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled fabrication welder with experience working with aluminum and stainless steel. In this role, you'll build custom handrails and miscellaneous metal products by reading fabrication drawings, preparing materials, fitting components, and completing precision TIG welds.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys detailed fabrication work and can maintain quality while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, fit, and weld aluminum, stainless steel, and other metal components using TIG welding techniques.
  • Build handrails and miscellaneous metal assemblies according to blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Perform layout, measuring, cutting, fitting, and final assembly of metal components.
  • Produce clean, structurally sound TIG welds that meet quality standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate fabrication equipment including saws, notchers, grinders, and common hand tools.
  • Position and align materials using jigs, fixtures, measuring devices, and layout tools before welding.
  • Move materials safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead lifting equipment when required.
  • Maintain productivity while following established quality and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience performing TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel in a fabrication shop.
  • Ability to read blueprints and complete accurate layout work using tape measures and hand tools.
  • Working knowledge of shop math, including fractions and basic geometry.
  • Ability to identify and resolve fit-up, layout, and welding issues with minimal supervision.
  • Experience using fabrication equipment and metalworking tools.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with changing priorities and production deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain close visual focus while performing detailed welding and fabrication work.
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as production needs require.
