Test Automation Engineer - Selenium

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31, 2026

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Test Automation Engineer - Selenium to design, develop, and maintain automated regression testing capabilities for enterprise applications. This role will focus on building reusable automation frameworks, implementing robust test scripts using C# and Selenium, and collaborating with QA teams to optimize test coverage and improve software quality. The successful candidate will contribute to scalable automation solutions while supporting efficient and reliable testing processes.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated regression test capabilities using Selenium and C#.
• Design reusable automation frameworks following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Implement and maintain Page Object Model (POM) architecture for automation frameworks.
• Develop and execute API automation test scripts.
• Analyze automation test case structures to maximize reusability and maintainability.
• Identify dependencies between automated test scripts and supporting test prerequisites.
• Collaborate with QA Test Leads and Functional Test Analysts to determine regression test scenarios suitable for automation.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results.
• Support test scheduling by identifying script dependencies and execution requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes.
• Proven experience developing automated test solutions using C# and Selenium.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience implementing the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Experience developing and executing API automation tests.
• Knowledge of automation framework design and regression testing strategies.
• Ability to create reusable, maintainable, and scalable automated test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with QA teams in Agile software development environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience supporting automated test execution and regression testing activities.
