This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and manage high-impact medical communications projects for diverse clients. You will act as a strategic partner, translating scientific knowledge into actionable plans while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver excellence. This position combines client-facing leadership with internal project management, ensuring high-quality scientific services, strategic consultations, and impactful project execution. You will influence client outcomes, mentor team members, and contribute to business growth in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
Accountabilities
Lead and supervise a portfolio of communications projects, ensuring delivery of scientific and strategic consultation, project planning, and execution across multiple channels including conferences, medical education, and digital formats.
Act as primary client liaison, building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering high business standards.
Provide scientific expertise and research-driven insights to guide project strategies and ensure accuracy and relevance.
Manage project teams, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while supporting staff development and mentoring.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration of client objectives with project execution, and contribute to the growth and development of new and existing accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in medical communications agencies or pharmaceutical marketing environments, with proven expertise in medical affairs projects.
- Demonstrated track record in client management, project management, and staff leadership.
- Strong strategic thinking, with experience developing and executing communication plans and programs.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting and resource management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
