Job Overview

An outpatient physical therapy office in Winchester, VA is hiring a Director of Physical Therapy to oversee clinical services, patient care delivery, and daily clinic operations. This is a full-time role with a Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule and annual pay ranging from $90,000-$120,000 .

This role is designed for a Physical Therapist who can lead with clinical experience, manage staff needs, and help ensure patients receive organized, effective rehabilitation care.

What This Position Covers

• Direct outpatient therapy services and clinical workflows
• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
• Provide physical therapy care for pain, injury, surgery recovery, and functional limitations
• Supervise clinical staff and assist with team development
• Review documentation, progress notes, and plans of care
• Maintain compliance with professional, payer, and clinic standards
• Coordinate with providers, referral sources, and care partners
• Support patient experience, clinic organization, and operational goals

Requirements

• Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Active Physical Therapist license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous director, manager, or lead clinician experience preferred
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation and outpatient rehab standards
• Ability to lead people, manage priorities, and maintain care quality
