About The Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement of the production installations: Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical malfunctions efficiently to minimize production downtime. Maintenance: Execute both curative (reactive) and preventive maintenance on high-tech machinery. Project Involvement: Provide active support and technical input for new investment and installation projects. Parts Management: Replace defective components utilizing stock from the warehouse, and repair parts whenever applicable. Work Order Management: Assist in completing ongoing work requests and administrative follow-ups. Continuous Improvement: Proactively initiate and implement optimization proposals for existing installations.
Education & Experience Degree: Bachelor’s or A2/TSO degree in Electromechanics, Electrotechnics, Electricity, or equivalent through proven experience. Experience: Relevant experience is a strong plus, but motivated school-leavers with a strong desire to learn are highly encouraged to apply. Technical Skills & Knowledge Multidisciplinary Knowledge: Solid foundational knowledge across electrical networks, reading frequency drives, and diagnosing error codes. Schematics: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams to trace and solve faults. PLC Knowledge: Basic knowledge or familiarity with Siemens S7 PLC systems is a valuable asset. Mechanical Aptitude: Good understanding of, or a strong interest in, mechanical systems. Soft Skills & Safety Mindset Autonomy: A healthy degree of independence with a proactive, self-starting attitude. Safety First: High awareness of safety protocols, with the ability to translate observations into safety improvement proposals. Flexibility: Fully committed and willing to work in a structured 5-shift system.
