Physical Therapist (Adult Outpatient)

Total Rehabilitation of Harlingen is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing outpatient rehabilitation team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, injuries, and post-surgical conditions—helping them restore function, mobility, and independence.

As part of our multidisciplinary care team, you’ll design and implement personalized treatment plans for a wide variety of patients, from those recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries to older adults improving functional mobility. You’ll also play a key role in patient and family education, teaching injury prevention, exercise programs, and wellness strategies to support long-term health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy
• Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician orders
• Act as a vital member of your patients' team, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and discipline s
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines, and federal, state, and local laws

Qualifications

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, based on state requirements.
• Current license in the state of Texas
• Bilingual (Preferred)
• Excellent Customer Service and Support skills
• Active CPR Certification
