What are your tasks? You are responsible for planning and allocating
our container equipment to ensure seamless availability for all import
and export flows. You coordinate all operational activities at depots
and terminals, from monitoring stock levels and tracking equipment to
managing contracts with our partners. You independently organize the
repositioning of empty containers by truck, barge, or vessel, which
includes negotiating rates and executing bookings. You manage the
on-hire and off-hire processes for third-party equipment and verify
the correct handling of Shipper's Own Containers (SoC). You take
charge of cost control by calculating demurrage and detention charges,
verifying service invoices, and processing purchase orders.
Qualifications You have professional experience in container
logistics, transport operations, or a similar operational field.
Ideally, you also bring some experience in maintenance and repair. You
possess a solid understanding of depot, terminal, and intermodal
transport processes. You are a strong coordinator with a structured
and detail-oriented way of working. Your communication skills enable
you to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
You are fluent in both German and English, both written and spoken.
