  • As part of
  • Siemens Operations Software (OPS-SW), the Technology, Data Fabric & Agentic

  • Engineering Systems, Data Fabric, Agentic AI frameworks, connectivity
  • platforms, semantic data models, cloud-native architectures, and industrial AI

  • OPS-SW portfolio.
  • As Director of Product Management – Connectivity, you will be responsible for the
  • strategic direction and market development of the Connectivity portfolio of DI
  • SW Operations Software (OpsSW). You will lead the Product Management team of
  • the Connectivity unit and steer the product strategy for the Information
  • Connector – Digital Industries' consolidated connectivity product – as well as
  • for the existing connectivity portfolio. Connectivity is a foundational enabler
  • for many of the digital threads and for many growth opportunities in OpsSW, and
  • thus an important element of the journey toward autonomous manufacturing.
  • Contextualized shopfloor data is a key element for scaling the use of AI in
  • industry. You will personally make consistent use of modern AI tools for market
  • and competitive analysis, pricing and packaging, and for accelerating the
  • day-to-day work of your team.

Your Area of Impact

  • Disciplinary and functional
  • leadership of the Connectivity unit's Product Management team and building
  • of a high-impact, customer focused PM organization
  • Ownership of the product
  • strategy and roadmap of the Information Connector as a standalone product
  • and as an enabler component within the OpsSW products
  • Definition and execution of the
  • pricing and packaging strategy in close alignment with the OpsSW portfolio
  • mgmt., OpsSW business lines and Sales
  • Steering of the sunset paths
  • for legacy connectivity products and ownership of the migration plans for
  • installed-base customers
  • Leadership of pilot customer

engagements and ownership of the market launch of the Information

Connector

  • Development and execution of
  • the go-to-market strategy including bundling concepts with relevant OpsSW
  • products and with a clear focus on lead verticals
  • Ensuring that the Information

Connector meets the requirements of an Operational Data Fabric and Agentic

AI ("AI Operations")

  • Building and maintaining

strategic partnerships with external providers and Hyperscalers

  • Establishing AI-assisted ways
  • of working in Product Management (e.g., for market and competitive
  • analysis, customer insights, content creation, and pricing simulations)
  • and fostering a corresponding tool and data culture within the team
  • Close collaboration incl.
  • stakeholder management on senior mgmt. level with relevant Business Lines,
  • Sales (Automation and SW sales channels) and central technology teams
  • Your Success is Based on
  • Several years of experience in
  • product management, ideally in the fields of industrial software, IIoT,
  • industrial automation, or industrial connectivity
  • Proven experience leading
  • product management teams and managing complex product portfolios with
  • overlapping lifecycles
  • Deep understanding of

industrial sectors and of the relevant competitive landscape

  • Experience with modern pricing

and packaging models (e.g. tier-based)

  • Solid technical understanding

of edge and hybrid architectures as well as industrial protocols

  • Experience in conceptualizing
  • and driving product strategies and strategy projects – ideally in the
  • context of product consolidations
  • Affinity for and proven
  • experience in actively using modern AI tools to increase the speed and
  • quality of Product Management work
  • Affinity for AI-driven product
  • evolution and for positioning connectivity as an enabler for agentic
  • manufacturing
  • Strong ability to influence and

convince at C-level and across business unit boundaries

  • Excellent communication,
  • facilitation, and presentation skills, as well as experience in direct
  • interaction at senior management level
  • Strong ability to develop
  • constructive solutions even in controversial discussions while maintaining
  • focus on win-win situations
  • Fluent
  • English skills, German advantageous
