Senior Full Stack Developer (Remote, Contractual) [HR187]

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance a live, feature-complete production platform.
• -
• Build new features across the backend and frontend.
• -
• Deliver incremental backend API improvements.
• -
• Support the Studio product in production.
• -
• Work primarily on backend development, with some frontend contribution.
• -
• Independently design and document APIs.
• -
• Follow existing codebase patterns and deployment pipelines.
• -
• Collaborate within an existing engineering team while self-managing day to day.
• -
• Support containerised services deployed through the existing cloud deployment setup.
• -
• Use AI-assisted development tools comfortably as part of the engineering workflow.

Requirements

• -
• 4+ years of experience with Node.js and/or NestJS.
• -
• 3+ years of experience with Angular.& 1.5 years with React
• -
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and/or Docker Compose.
• -
• 4+ years of experience with REST API design.
• -
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• -
• 2+ years of experience with Swagger and/or API documentation, or strong API discipline.
• -
• 1+ year of working experience with AI tools such as Claude, MCP, LLM APIs, or similar.
• -
• Mid to Senior level engineering experience.
• -
• 4–6 years minimum professional experience, with 8+ years ideal.
• -
• Ability to independently design and document APIs.
• -
• Ability to work in a mostly independent way while collaborating with an existing team.
• -
• Ability to follow established patterns in an existing codebase and deployment pipeline.

Nice to Have

• -
• 1+ year of experience with microservices architecture.
