About The Role

The Risk Trader will be responsible for the trading and risk management of all our horse & greyhound racing content for all Flutter UK&I facing brands. The successful candidate will also be tasked with providing an industry leading antepost, specials and extra market offering for our greyhound racing product. They will be responsible for the horse racing risk management tasks and the day to day running of the greyhound desk.

What you will be doing

Risk Management

  • To effectively analyse bet information to drive pricing accuracy
  • To relay risk information in real time to the horse racing traders
  • You will also be required to conduct retrospective risk reports and post trading analysis

Customer Management

  • To effectively manage our customer base and tailor the product offering to the needs of our customers
  • You will be required to manage customer level risk and liabilities including bet clearance

Greyhound Proposition

  • To price all domestic UK&I greyhound races daily and ensure we have a compelling proposition in the marketplace for all our brands
  • To offer industry leading specials and extra markets to drive customer engagement
  • To keep up to date on antepost competitions and industry developments

Effective Communication

  • To work within the high paced trading environment and effectively react to and communicate real time risk information
  • You will be required work within the wider racing team liaising on risk management decisions and wider racing projects

Technical Skills

  • Strong Microsoft office user particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong report-writing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
