Maintenance Technician

PHILMIC LIMITED is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and support the upkeep of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repair of production line equipment, including washing machines, dryers, ironers, and conveyor systems in an industrial laundry environment.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Assemble, fit, and test parts and sub-assemblies for machinery, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Assist in implementing maintenance programmes and maintain accurate records of work completed.
• Collaborate with supervisors and external contractors to resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure all work adheres to Irish legislation, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years' experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting, preferably in laundry or similar processing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Salary: €36,605 per annum
• Working hours - 39 hours per week
