Catalyx is seeking a Manufacturing Utilities Technician to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork. This is a 3 cycle shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for working on assignments that are routine in nature while recognising deviations from accepted or usual practices
  • Adheres to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Works in conjunction with Manufacturing Technicians under the guidance of a Team Lead supporting manufacturing activities

Material Movement

Manual Cleaning of Equipment

Blending, Solution preparation and excipient addition

Monitoring Manufacturing equipment and processes

Responsible for manufacturing of our customer’s products and assists in the inspection of our customer’s products, Clinical Trial Material and components

Complies with all safety-related procedures and practices, individually and in the area

Complies with well-defined instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments

Deliver on agreed KPIs and metrics

Other duties as requested

Input information regarding the movement and handling of products in a computerized inventory system and organise and maintain accurate records associated with Distribution activities.

Perform routine transactions associated with Distribution processes through internal and external computer systems

Preparation and shipment of product from the customer’s distribution centre

Preparation and rejection of product at the customer’s warehouse

Requirements

  • A relevant Level 6 qualification or specific industry experience
  • Demonstrates familiarity with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records while recognising deviations from accepted practice
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with established interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrates ability to follow direction and work with only moderate supervision
  • Proven attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude towards customer delivery and performance
