About The Role

Traxial is looking for an experienced Electromagnetic Simulations Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. You will be taking responsibility for the electromagnetic simulations of our axial flux motors and inverters.

This is what you'll do

  • Develop and implement electromagnetic simulations for our axial flux motors and inverters.
  • Analyze simulation results to determine performance characteristics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continually improve our simulation methodologies to reduce development times and improve the accuracy of the test data correlation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including simulations, and mechanical and prototyping engineers, to optimize the motor design.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry developments and advancements in simulation tools and techniques.
  • Draw conclusions on the root cause analysis of products and processes.
  • Who are we looking for?
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Deep understanding of electromagnetism and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with electromagnetic simulations.
  • Basic understanding of different engineering domains: mechanics, NVH, thermodynamics, ...
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Ansys Maxwell, Jmag, Altair or similar as well as Python
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal), good collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across teams within the organizations.
