The Food & Beverage Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of all warehouse locations throughout the park
This position will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations and its hosts, including training, accountability, food safety and sanitation, internal guest service, receiving activities, delivery fulfillment and quality controls. This role also assists in hiring, scheduling, reporting and training activities.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Pay Rate: $16.00/hr
- Seasonal Hours: April - November
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise the daily operations of the Warehouse tea m and any other assigned de par tm ent s
- Lead by example, attitude, and as a repres ent ation of Adv ent ureland ’s core values
- Act as an approachable m ent or and coach to all assigned host
- Ensure compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe and productive environm ent for colleagues and guests.
- Become knowledgeable of performing the ess ent ial duties of all warehouse positions and backfill these positions when needed
- Par ticipate in all aspects of supervision of assigned hosts , including hiring, ori ent ation , training, performance coaching, and discipline.
- Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with Iowa law
- Assist with tea m scheduling and timekeeping activities
De par tm ent al Duties
- Conduct opening and closing procedures of all assigned areas.
- Practice, tea ch and enforce proper food safety guidelines adhering to company policy and local Health De par tm ent requirem ent s.
- Maintain all alcohol safety practices when applicable.
- Oversee quality controls of food items and ensure perishables are being rotated properly.
- Ensure that cleanliness of all interiors and exterior warehouse areas is maintained .
- Manage inv ent ory, focusing accurate and timely receiving, order fulfilm ent , physical and cycle counts and waste controls .
- Interface with other stakeholders on product and supply needs .
- Interface with maintenance on all equipm ent or physical plant needs .
- Inspect all products that are delivered to ensure they are undamaged.
- Ensure that all invoices from deliveries are properly received and communicated to the proper colleagues for paym ent .
- Ensure that the Warehouse tea m is following safety guidelines set by the organization as well as OSHA, De par tm ent of Health, State, and Local guidelines.

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma, GED, or equival ent preferred
- 2+ years of p revious warehouse experience and/ or supervisor experience preferred.
- Must become certified to operate forklifts and/or other mechanical equipm ent within 30 days of hire.
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak flu ent English Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirem ent s
- Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with Iowa Child Labor Laws
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work until later hours of the evening, from open to close
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Ability to safely and effici ent ly operate motorized vehicles and equipm ent
- Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations, meet the demands of constant deadlines and coordinate multiple priorities in a dynamic environm ent .
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess strong att ent ion to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel
Physical Requirem ent s
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
- Ability to frequ ent ly stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
- Ability to remain sed ent ary for periods of time, while using a computer
- Ability to work in enclosed spaces and refrigerated areas
- Ability to withstand heat and humidity in the various food stands and restaurants
- Ability to use a step ladder in a safe and proper manner
- Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more
- Ability to c onsist ent ly use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools
- Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away
Working Conditions
- This role will be based in both an office setting as well as many other indoor and outdoor par k locations
- Subject to frequ ent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
- Frequ ent exposure to the variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain , snow, ice, and other weather conditions
- Subject to refrigerated temperatures on a regular basis
- Subject to frequ ent repetitive motion and lifting of heavy objects
- Some exposure to dust and chemical cleaning ag ent s
