About The Role
As a CCE, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to execution and renewal. Your expertise will be crucial in negotiating and drafting complex contracts, ensuring they align with our business objectives and legal requirements. You will collaborate closely with various teams, providing commercial and legal guidance to drive strategic initiatives and mitigate risks.
- Manage and oversee the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Provide commercial and legal expertise to internal stakeholders, offering guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align contract terms with business objectives and strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring satisfactory contract performance.
- Conduct regular contract audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in contract management and commercial law.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Prepare and present contract-related reports and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and accurate contract execution, maintaining a well-organized contract management system.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field, with a focus on contract law and commercial practices.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, with a proven track record in complex contract negotiations.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and regulatory requirements in the relevant industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and propose solutions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite, with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of contract documentation.
- Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and best practices, attending relevant training and workshops.
- A self-starter with a proactive approach, able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
