The Four Seasons Resort s Lāna’i is looking for a P astry Cook I who share s a passion for excellence and who infuse s enthusiasm into everything they do. Ou r teams h ave the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge o f the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization r equired .

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Pastr y Cook I prepares high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and specialty baked goods while ensuring consistency, food safety, and presentation standards. This role supports daily pastry and bakery production, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and assists in training junior team members in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines while maintaining proper mise en place and station readiness
• Independently manage an assigned pastry/bakery station, supporting daily production needs and collaborating with the pastry team to ensure efficient service and consistent product quality
• Operate, maintain , and properly clean pastry and bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, proofers, dough sheeters, steamers, food processors, and slicers
• Manage inventory and product freshness by maintaining par levels, rotating stock, labeling and dating products, monitoring storage temperatures, and identifying shortages or production needs
• Control food costs by minimizing waste, monitoring product usage, and following established inventory and portion-control procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment in compliance with sanitation, safety, and company standards

WHAT TO BRING

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day and scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Holidays and weekends availability is required .
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
• Hawaii Food Handler’s Card and ServSafe is re quired for this role
• Hawaii Driver’s Licence /Drivers Abstract is required
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 7 0 lbs , and push/pull as needed during shifts
