Finance Transformation

About The Role
About the Role
As we scale, our finance function is undergoing a significant transformation — SAP integration to different business systems, building real-time reporting infrastructure, and automating reconciliation across insurer and corporate payment flows.
We're looking for a Finance Transformation professional who can own this journey end-to-end — not just execute tasks, but identify what's broken, design what good looks like, and drive adoption across finance, product, and engineering teams.
What You'll Own
Lead delivery of finance transformation projects — SAP migration, AP/AR automation, H2H banking integrations, and Tax ERP implementation
Redesign core processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) to eliminate manual workarounds and reduce cycle times
Build and maintain data flow maps for finance reporting; work with engineering to ensure clean, audit-ready data pipelines
Evaluate and implement RPA and AI tools to automate high-volume, low-judgment tasks in the finance function
Develop a real-time finance dashboard for CFO/Director Finance with meaningful KPIs, not just data dumps
Define Target Operating Models for key finance sub-functions and track progress against them
Translate finance requirements into clear, prioritized specs for the engineering team — own the backlog, not just the wishlist
Run change management: training, documentation, and adoption tracking for every system rollout
In your first 12 months, you'll be expected to: own at least two major system migrations, reduce manual reconciliation effort by a measurable percentage, and establish a reporting cadence that gives finance leadership real-time visibility into spend and collections.
What We're Looking For
Must-haves
- 5–7 years in finance transformation, management consulting, or a functional finance role with a clear process improvement focus
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems — SAP preferred; exposure to Retool, banking APIs, or Tax ERP a plus
- Strong command of Excel and SQL; Power BI or equivalent for reporting
- Ability to write a business case, track ROI of transformation initiatives, and present findings to senior stakeholders without hand-holding
- Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering — you should be comfortable in a sprint planning meeting, not just a finance review
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in a consulting firm (Big 4 / boutique) with a finance practice
- Exposure to healthcare, fintech, or insurance verticals — understanding claims reconciliation or TPA flows is a meaningful differentiator
- Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath Automation Anywhere) or workflow automation platforms
