• What This Role Is…

As a

Warehouse Recycling

Associate

, the primary function of this position is to ensure proper flow and processing of all recyclables/EPS in the Distribution. The Warehouse Recycling Associate is also responsible for using a tugger machine to process damaged products, as well as maintaining the work area clean of debris and promoting an overall safe environment; upholding all department standards and leading by example are critical aspects of this position. Your contributions will ensure the success of Group 1 within the Operations department at CITY HOME.

: $17.25

Compensation

• This Support Associate starts with a base hourly rate of
• $17.25.
• The compensation is complemented by an extensive benefits package.
• What You’ll Do…

As a Warehouse Recycling Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to

Cardboard Processing- Safely processing cardboard, which can weigh anywhere from about 5 pounds to 75 pounds. (50%)

EPS Processing- Processing EPS, (i.e., styrofoam), using an EPS recycling machine inside the Distribution Center. (5 lb. – 30 lb.) (15%)

Maintenance- Blowing excess debris with a blower inside the Distribution Center in order to keep the work environment well-maintained and safe.(10%)

Damage Control- Processing damaged products and using a tugger to move products on carts to specific locations in the Distribution Center. (5%)

Wood Processing- Processing wood on a wood chipping machine inside the Distribution Center.(5%)

Plastic Processing- Safely processing felt and plastic on a plastic baler machine inside the Distribution Center. (5%)

Trash Processing- Safely processing trash in a compactor inside the Distribution Center as well as outside when the compactor is picked up, picking up debris with a snow shovel (5%)

• What’s Required…
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test

Education & Work Experience

• High School/GED High School Equivalent and/or Trade School curriculum completion.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a related field is required.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Work on holidays is required (4th of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve)
• 40 hours a week
