Senior DOORS Next Generation Database Administrator

General Overview: Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Senior DOORS Next Generation (DNG) database administrator who is also familiar with Missile Defense System (MDS) modeling and simulation (M&S) architectures. Job Roles & Responsibilities:The candidate will be supporting MDA/SEQV Systems Verification, which has been designated the MDA M&S requirements managerManage user access, project areas, roles, and permissions within DOORS Next Generation (DNG)Configure requirement types, attributes, link types, artifact, and workflowsCreate and maintain custom templates, modules, and viewsExecute bulk data migrations using Excel and CSV formatsExport DNG modules to external formats for stakeholdersGenerate automated, print-ready PDF and Word requirement documentsAuthor and maintain the Change and Configuration Management PlanCreate and manage streams, baselines, and componentsAuthor, update, and manage document generation templates in Engineering Lifecycle Optimization – PublishingDesign custom report layouts, headers, footers, and stylers per program and product standardsTroubleshoot template formatting errors and data source connection issuesAssist with analysis of real-world requirements and translate them into M&S requirementsNo travel is anticipated with this position Required Qualifications:Master’s Degree + 12 years relevant experience, or Bachelor's + 20 years exp is required.Must possess a Secret level security clearance (or higher)Experience working with IBM DOORS Next GenerationAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while reporting results as part of a team.Candidate should be able to work in an open, collaborative environmentGood communication skills, both orally and written; ability to generate briefings, reports, and technical documentation, as requiredAbility to work on-site 5 days a week Desired Qualifications:BS and/or MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science disciplinePrior experience working in missile defense and modeling & simulationMinimum 2 years administering IBM DOORS Next Generation#LI-AS1
