Mission Risk Management Engineer

MTSI is looking for a skilled and motivated Mission Risk Assessment Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Chief Engineer and the Mission Risk Manager (MRM) by assisting with the development of Flight, Technical, and Cyber risks as they relate to both internal MDA systems as well as external systems.ResponsibilitiesEnsure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) DecisionsProvide expert review of evidence related to technical, and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews.Provide support to elements for risk <development.Support> Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.Required QualificationsUS citizenship and an active secret clearanceBachelor’s Degree in STEM7+ years of experienceIntermediate MS Office/TEAMS/PowerBI experienceExcellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical information to senior MDA leaders.Experience with Risk development and assessmentPreferred QualificationsStrong task management skillsExperience working with probability and statisticsTechnical understanding of one or more MDS systemUnderstanding of MDS systems engineering including system assessmentAbility to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance#LI-JJ1
