Senior Target Performance Analyst

MTSI is looking for a talented Senior Target Performance Analyst to join our team! In this role you will provide technical and advisory assistance to the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program in solid fuel debris model development and validation, pre-flight and post-flight trajectory analysis, and on-site mission support.Job Responsibilities:Support the development, integration, analysis, and documentation of target analysis products for pre-mission and post-mission activities for all MDA Flight TestsDevelop and sustain RF/IR analytical tools and techniquesProduce representative signatures of systems under testDeliver signature data packages to mission partners for all relevant missile flight tests including large Monte Carlo predictive datasets and highly detailed datasets based on actual sensor returns and reportingPlan test activities and provide recommendations for team assignments to support mission activities Contribute to development of Target Vehicle notional trajectories, flight scenarios, and debris scenesDeploy for test missions and develop data analysis products such as Target Best Estimated Trajectory (BET), Target Quick-look Brief, and Target Launch Time within required 24-hour (quick-look) timeframe, ensuring accuracy of data productsParticipate in target development and test planning activities such as Target System Readiness Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, Target and Test Readiness Reviews, providing analysis and recommendationsPrepare technical reports and/or briefings on various technical aspects of Flight Test TargetsRequired Qualifications:Master's degree with 12+ years of experience or bachelor’s degree with 20+ years’ experienceActive Secret ClearanceExperience in a minimum of 2 of the following areas: Trajectory/kinematic simulation, EO/IR sensor exploitation, RF sensor exploitation, geodesyStrong communication skills and the ability to work well alone and with a team Desired Qualifications:Experience working independently and/or leading sub-teams to analyze and resolve problemsSkilled in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Skilled in use of Matlab, and TAOS software Familiar with STK softwareExperience with missiles, targets, missile defense systems, or hypersonic weaponsExperience with automation and scriptingExperience with modeling and simulation best practicesB.S. in Engineering or Physics or M.S. in Engineering or Physics#LI-JJ1
