Data Analyst

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an analyst to support verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) activities associated with Missile Defense System (MDS) modeling and simulation (M&S).Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be supporting MDA/SEQV Systems Verification, which has been designated the MDA M&S agent, to assess HWIL/Digital Models against their requirements and determine their suitability for stated intended uses in MDS simulationsPerform M&S VV&A analysis in one or more of the following areas: radars/sensors (RF/IR), threat, environment, interceptors, communications, or other simulated BMDS componentsDevelop code-based data analysis tools to assess the performance parameters identified in analysis and accreditation plansResearch technical papers on models and identify data pertinent to model VV&ACollaborate with counterparts from other stakeholder agencies, such as software developers and accreditation agents, to establish adequate VV&A evidence and correct modeling issuesParticipate in technical interchange meetings, generate reports, and brief VV&A findingsQualifications and Education RequirementsUS citizenship and an active secret clearance is <required.BS> and/or MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science discipline and 7+ years of relevant experienceMust possess a Secret level security clearance (or higher)MatLab and/or Python experience is a plusUnderstanding of radar principles/models is a plusGood communication skills, both orally and written; ability to generate briefings, reports, and technical documentation, as requiredThe pay range for this position is $150,000/year to $180,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
