JRC is seeking a C4I System Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Dahlgren, VA. The selected candidate will provide support of Japan’s Aegis System Equipped Vessel (ASEV) program.
💼 What You'll Do
- Responsible for design, development, and integration of ASEV’s unique C4I configuration to ensure full system interoperability
- Interacts with multiple PARMs and Lockheed Martin for the management of C4I equipment procurements and delivery to PTC-2 and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer
- Ensures the accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of engineering documentation (requirements, design modifications, etc.) in support of vessel construction, integration and testing, commissioning, flight test, and final handover
- Prepares and presents C4I product status updates, reports, and technical briefings to stakeholders and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customer
- Clearly and concisely communicates the scope, status, and potential impacts of the technical issues to ensure construction schedule impacts are understood by MDA, the FMS Customer and Japan shipbuilder teams
🧠 What You Bring to the Table
- B.S. and/or M.S. STEM Degree
- Seven years of experience with Aegis and/or C4I
- Active Secret Clearance or one held in the last two years
