We are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL, supporting the Missile Defense Agency. ​

💼 What You'll Do

  • Work independently with minimal supervision​
  • Brief status reports to the Leadership Team​
  • Prepare detailed reports for presentation​
  • Understand and manage the technologies of the assigned systems

🧠 What You Bring to the Table

  • 15+ years of Information Technology/Cybersecurity Experience with a minimum of 5 years in the DoD and a minimum of 5 years of System Administration and configuration experience in the enterprise with one or more of the following technologies:​
  • Windows 7 – 10 including DoD Secure Host Baseline​
  • Cisco switches and routers​
  • Boundary defenses​
  • DoD 8570 IAM – III Certification Certification Details​
  • An active DoD SECRET Level Security Clearance (or have held one in the past 2 years)​
  • Strong skills in Tenable’s Nessus/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS):​
  • Vulnerability Analysis​
  • Managing scan data in Security Center​
  • Providing reports to system owners, program managers, and ISSMs to track vulnerability metrics​
  • Uploading scan data to enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS) to populate the asset management component​
  • Ports, Protocols, and Services (PP&S)​
  • LAN/WAN design and security​
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) policy and procedures (DoD 8500, DoD 8510, NIST SP 800-37, & NIST SP 800-53)​
  • Knowledge of RMF Implementation guidance and applying technical expertise to continuous monitoring controls​
  • Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences and explain complex situations to all levels of leadership, including SES/General Officers
