Development Engineer (m/f/x) in the Field of High-Frequency Technology

Tasks: Design and development of microwave components and systems for mmWave measurement technology and remote weather sensing in various environments, ranging from ground-based applications to space missions Conceptualization and optimization of circuit designs using simulation tools such as AWR, MWO, CST, and HFSS Review and validation of assemblies through commissioning, testing, and metrological verification to ensure compliance with specifications Independently implementing customer-specific projects in the field of measurement technology Your responsibilities range from concept development, technology selection, circuit design, MMIC characterization, and integration to documentation, test planning, and manufacturing qualification You will work closely with the manufacturing and technology development teams at RPG and R&S and serve as the point of contact for microwave circuit technology, including related physical and technological issues Skills: A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on high-frequency technology, or relevant professional experience and practical expertise in the field of high-frequency measurement technology Proficiency in CAE tools such as Microwave-Office/Studio, CST, HFSS, or ADS Very good knowledge of analog RF circuit design Programming skills (e.g., Microsoft Visual Studio, LabVIEW) are preferred An independent and goal-oriented work style combined with strong organizational skills Ability to work well in a team, creativity, and strong communication skills Very good written and spoken English skills Benefits: Collegial and friendly working atmosphere Flexible working hours 30 days vacation and flexible holiday planning Regular team events Award as Kununu TOP Company Corporate Benefits Free beverages Individual further education 360° Support: feedback meetings, career planning, relocation support, etc.
