• Small Animal Veterinarian – Medicine-Focused Role | Takanini, Auckland
• This position at Veterinary Associates Takanini is ideal for a vet who enjoys consultations, diagnostics, and case management.
• Predominantly consulting & internal medicine-focused (surgical exposure available if desired)
• Strong focus on diagnostics, treatment planning, and ongoing care - with all the equipment you need in-house
• Opportunity to work cases up thoroughly with excellent support
• 30 hours per week + shared Saturdays, with flexibility for less hours if preferred

Clinical Environment

Work alongside a large and diverse veterinary team and skilled nurses in a well-equipped, purpose-built clinic featuring digital X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house lab facilities.

You’ll be joining a genuinely supportive, energetic team who have each other’s backs. It’s a busy, fast-paced clinic, but in the best way – collaborative, upbeat, and full of variety.

Our team’s expertise spans medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, oncology, reproduction, and dentistry.

About You

• BVSc (or equivalent) + NZ eligibility
• 3+ years’ small animal experience
• Thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment and enjoys the energy and variety it brings
• Strong clinical focus with an interest in medicine, diagnostics, and case management
• A team player with a great sense of humour, who can roll with the day and keep things positive
