About The Role

B.S. in Engineering, preferably ECE, Chemical, Manufacturing, Electrical and Mechanical degree or any Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree

With at least 5 years FA-REL working experience or related experience with Electronics/Semiconductor company and at least 1-year Supervisory Experience. Or at least have 10 years FA-Rel working experience.

Knowledgeable in FPC manufacturing processes. Problem Solving Tools such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, OCAP, DOE, Six Sigma, 7QC Tools, FA Knowledgeable in Manufacturing flow, Non-destructive failure analysis such as: Xray, SAM (Scanning Acoustic Microscopy), X-ray, High magnification & low magnification external inspection, Non-contact measurement, Destructive testing for failure analysis

Keen to detail, work with minimum supervision, with good analytical and critical thinking. Can effectively communicate. With Leadership skills Knowledgeable in MS Office Can interpret reliability test

Core job functions

  1. Team Leadership & Operations:

Workflow Management

Prioritizes daily tasks and testing queues to ensure QA/QC and production deadlines are met.

Staff Development

Coaches, mentors, and evaluates the performance of lab technicians and reliability engineers.

Lab Oversight

Ensures equipment (e.g., optical microscopes, SAM, CT scanners) is maintained, calibrated, and safely operated.

  1. Failure Analysis (FA)

Root Cause Identification

Guides the team in investigating hardware or equipment failures using experimental testing and dissection techniques.

Method Development

Develops and optimizes new investigative methods and lab procedures to tackle emerging hardware challenges.

  1. Reliability Testing & Risk Mitigation

Qualification Testing

Oversees reliability tests (e.g., temperature cycling, mechanical stress, HTOL) to verify that parts meet industry or internal standards.

Metric Tracking

Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) like Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) to assess long-term reliability.

Continuous Improvement

Spearheads corrective actions and preventive maintenance strategies to eliminate recurring failures.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Stakeholder Alignment

Coordinates with design, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to escalate critical findings and resolve field issues.

Design Feedback

Provides actionable recommendations to design and manufacturing teams to prevent similar defects in future product iterations.
