Sourcing Specialist

• College graduate of any 4 year course; Engineering course is an advantage
• 4-6 years of experience in purchasing/procurement/supply chain.
• Experience with ERP with purchasing module.
• Experience in supplier management, contract management, or sourcing.
• Manufacturing environment exposure (electronics or similar).
• Knowledge/experience in ISO and IATF requirements and working environment is an advantage.
• Experience with supplier performance management and scorecards.
• Experience with EOL risk management or supply continuity planning.
• Understanding of procurement and sourcing principles (cost,
• quality, delivery, risk).
• Knowledge of end-to-end purchasing cycle.
• EOL risk management and supply continuity planning knowledge.
• Supplier management skills: AVL maintenance, scorecards,
• contract management.
• Analytical skills: able to track and report on supplier performance,
• EOL risks, and contract status.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with CFT and suppliers.

Core Job Functions

Supplier Identification & Selection

Researching potential vendors, conducting RFPs (Request for Proposals), and evaluating bids based on cost, quality, and reliability.

Negotiation & Contracting

Securing favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs), as well as drafting and managing contracts.

Relationship Management

Building and maintaining partnerships with suppliers, monitoring performance, and resolving issues to ensure continuous supply.

Market Analysis & Cost Optimization

Monitoring market trends, commodity prices, and risks, while analyzing the total cost of ownership to identify savings.

Strategic Sourcing Strategy

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement processes with organizational goals, including the use of tools like SAP or Microsoft Office.

Risk Mitigation

Developing strategies to manage potential supply disruptions, including diversifying the supplier base and implementing contingency plans.
