The Role at Glance

We're

looking for a creative and highly motivated

Junior Environmental Graphic Designer

  • to join our growing team in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career designer who is passionate about
  • signage, wayfinding, and branded environments
  • and wants to work alongside an experienced design team.

You'll

contribute to projects across a variety of sectors—including healthcare, corporate workplaces, commercial developments, and other built environments—helping create intuitive, engaging experiences through environmental graphics

In your new role, you will

  • Develop creative concepts for environmental graphic design, signage, and wayfinding systems.
  • Prepare design presentations, concept packages, preliminary drawings, and construction documentation.

Assist

  • in the design and documentation of signage programs from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, and project teams.
  • Produce compelling graphics and visual communications using industry-standard software.
  • Participate in design reviews and client presentations.
  • Research materials, fabrication methods, and production techniques for environmental graphics.
  • Support multiple projects across healthcare, workplace, commercial, and other market sectors.
  • What you will need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in

Visual Communication Design

, Graphic Design, Industrial Design

, or

  • a related
  • discipline.
  • 0–3 years
  • of professional experience (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Environmental Graphic Design coursework or professional experience is a plus.
  • Strong visual design skills with an exceptional eye for typography, composition, and branding.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Comfortable presenting ideas through sketches, renderings, and graphic presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment.

Preferred Skills

Proficiency

in

Adobe Creative Suite

(Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Experience with

After Effects

and

Premiere Pro

for motion graphics is a plus.

Knowledge of

Revit

and/or

Rhino

  • is preferred but not
  • required
  • .

Understanding of

signage fabrication methods, materials, and construction documentation is a plus.

Experience designing for the built environment, architecture, or interior design is highly desirable.

The annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $65,000 and $70,000. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be carefully determined based on a number of factors, including their skills, qualifications and experience.

This role requires the individual to be based in the United States.
