About The Role
As the Country Manager for SEA, you will be the primary architect of our growth across Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. You will lead the charge in establishing our brand footprint, cultivating high-value partnerships, and executing localized marketing strategies. This role requires a unique blend of entrepreneurial grit, analytical rigor, and the cultural fluency needed to navigate the diverse SEA business landscape.
Job Description
Lead and drive business development and marketing for South East Asia markets, including Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia & Philippines etc.
Develop new business partnership opportunities, manage launch timeline and pipeline
Lead the strategy and performance for all sales channels, including online marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), D2C, retail and wholesale networks to ensure maximum market coverage
Identify and build high-impact relationships with local distributors, logistics providers, and payment platforms to accelerate market entry and scale the brand's footprint across the region
Plan and deploy marketing campaigns to launch and grow our brand and product lines with new product launches, brand marketing campaigns, collaboration launch campaigns
Own KPIs and analytics to report on the success, learnings, and other key insights from campaigns, marketing tests, and channels
Build strong long-term relationships with business partners
Liaise with in-house departments to meet marketing deliverables
Draft new business proposals to targeted brands and retailers
Support budget, sales forecast reports and assist various market research
Monitor competition and market trends in order to expand the product pipeline
Requirement
- Bachelor degree or above in Business, Marketing discipline or equivalent
- 8+ year of relevant experience in e-commerce or consumer products preferred
- Hands on local business development experience in Thailand OR Singapore
- Extensive network and resources in connection with potential local business partners, media, celebrities, brands and retailers
- Experience in contract negotiation and deliverables / project management
- Highly numerical and goal-oriented mind-set
- Strategic thinking and execution: You are able to take the big picture view of marketing objectives and plans, but also have the experience and motivation to dig in and do the work
- Passionate about technology, fashion, lifestyle brands, and being part of a growing start-up team
- Great problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Native speaker in Thai or other SEA local languages, excellent command in English, knowledge in Chinese will be an advantage
