The Regional
ELA
- Coach will expand the knowledge,

- and toolkits of all campus leaders to ensure ELA classrooms are optimum to engage all students in the learning.
Location
- This is a full-time

- position based in Jacksonville

- Preference will be given to candidates who live in the
- region,
- or who are willing to relocate.
Travel Expectation
- 1-2 times per year

- What You’ll Do – Accountabilities
Essential Duties
Design and facilitate professional development sessions that support teachers and leaders in implementing evidence-based
ELA
- practices.
- Collaborate with National Coaches and the Academic Services Team to develop and implement effective
ELA
- instruction for students.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to teachers and leaders to ensure fidelity of implementation of
ELA
- instruction.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to identify areas of strength and growth in
ELA
- instruction.
- Collect and analyze
ELA
- data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with campus and regional leadership to develop and implement
ELA
- improvement plans based on data analysis.
- Communicate regularly with regional leaders about student progress and instructional initiatives.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest research and trends in
ELA
- instruction.
- What You Bring - Competencies
Experience
Education
Bachelor’s
degree required;
Master’s
- degree preferred
- Valid teaching certification.
Minimum of
3
- years of classroom teaching experience.
- Experience as
a
ELA
coach
,
- instructional coach
- , or schools leader
- preferred.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based
ELA
- practices and instructional strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and facilitate effective professional development sessions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience working with data to inform instructional decisions.
- Knowledge of current
ELA
trends and research.
What We Offer
Compensation & Benefits
Salaries for people entering this role typically fall between $66,000 and $80.000
, commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications and in alignment with internal equity.
This role is also eligible for performance pay based on organizational performance and goal attainment
.
