About the Role Bohler’s Nashville, TN office is seeking a Senior Survey Technician to join our growing land surveying team supporting projects throughout the Metro Nashville market. In this role, you'll support a variety of survey projects both in the office and in the field, including the preparation of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Boundary and Topographic Surveys, and As-Built drawings, all with minimal supervision. You’ll evaluate field work for accuracy, compile deeds and base sketches, and ensure all survey data is complete, correct, and ready for engineering design. You’ll also help guide junior technicians, sharing your expertise and upholding Bohler’s standards of precision and quality. What You’ll Do Prepare detailed ALTA/ACSM, boundary, topographic, and as-built surveys using AutoCAD Civil 3D Evaluate and process field crew data to ensure accuracy and completeness Generate surfaces using 3D polylines and points for integration into engineering design Perform deed plotting, base map compilation, and data verification Conduct construction computations and provide technical oversight to junior staff when needed Deliver and share data seamlessly between field and office teams Identify and communicate technical issues or data discrepancies to leadership Contribute to quality assurance through careful checking and adherence to standards What We Offer Opportunities to lead by example and mentor the next generation of Survey Technicians Exposure to complex, large-scale land development projects Hands-on use of advanced software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble data integration A culture that values precision, collaboration, and continuous technical growth Clear career paths toward Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or Survey Leadership roles What You’ll Bring High school diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience; coursework or degree in surveying, engineering, or related field a plus 3+ years of CAD experience in land surveying; Civil 3D proficiency required Strong understanding of deed compilation and data verification Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines and budget limits A detail-driven mindset with a focus on Quality Control/Quality Assurance SIT or Level 3+ CST certification preferred Take pride in your precision and be part of a team that builds with confidence.
