About The Role

The Supply Chain Planning Analyst III is responsible for

Supporting monthly Sales & Operations Planning process by delivering data-driven insights and analytics. Responsible for preparing content for monthly S&OP meeting and preparing critical analysis to drive supply chain planning and insights for weekly customer and management reviews. Working with SOE Lead to drive the execution, reporting, and delivery on the system-driven S&OP plan to provide inputs to manage customer delivery and shipment expectation.

This position will serve Rheem North America , located in Lewisville, TX (Hybrid). This role follows our hybrid work arrangement, with team members working in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.

  • Sales & Operational Planning: Gather and analyze critical data, prepare content / presentation materials for S&OP, and drive actions that come out of S&OP process.
  • Sales & Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Customers, Sales Leaders, OPs teams and related stakeholders to execute monthly targets in specified channels and/or regions or customers. This will involve use of order and ship analytics by customer, region, products and demand/supply indicators to drive Ops execution.
  • Develop, monitor, and report out key performance metrics (fill rates, lead times, transportation, open order backlogs, e.g.).
  • Participate in weekly meetings and provide analytics to assist with shipment, open orders, and operational reviews.
  • Drive and build value-add internal relationships with customer-facing functions and Ops / Manufacturing to ensure transparency through the supply chain. Translate feedback from Operations, Sourcing, Distribution, and Sales into meaningful analytics and content for S&OP stakeholders.
  • Identify and address discrepancies in data or process(es) and drive corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, reports, and analyses to support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the S&OP and SOE processes.
  • Work with IT to develop advanced analytical tools and reporting to support S&OP process; design reports, automate processes to provide insights and inputs to drive business decisions, etc.
  • Actively participate in, and/or lead demand / supply planning and S&OP projects and studies.
  • An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Finance, or Logistics preferred.
  • 5+ years of supply chain planning, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • High technical aptitude with analytics, presentation content, and communication skills.
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts.
  • Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer-facing services / products.
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as: Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP supply chain management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem identification / solving skills with strong modeling, scenario building, and data visualization skills.

HOW TO STAND OUT

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.
  • HVAC / Water Heating industry experience preferred.
  • Experience using Oracle.
  • Experience with Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing operations environment.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or relevant supply chain certification.
