Receptionist

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team on a fixed-term contract through to April 2027 .

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience from the moment they walk through the door. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy helping people, and take pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Key responsibilities include

• Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and welcoming manner
• Managing appointment bookings and patient enquiries
• Answering phone calls and responding to emails
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting clinicians and the wider practice team with administrative tasks
• Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, organised, and patient-ready

Hours for this role

• Monday - Tuesday : 7:00am to 4:00pm
• Wenesday - Friday : 9:00am to 5:00pm

To be successful in this role, you'll bring

• Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
• A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
• The ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment

Previous dental or healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
