Prep Plant Equipment Operator

Hourly Position

Requirements: Must hold a Kentucky Surface Miner Certification. Preferred experience in plant maintenance, and surface foreman papers are a plus.

The essential functions of this position are determined to be but not limited to

1. Perform maintenance work on a variety of plant equipment (Pumps, Dryers, Screens, Cyclones, Piping).
2. Perform maintenance work on conveyors and material handling chutes.
3. Welding and use of acetylene/oxygen torches
4. Heavy equipment operation (assists in maintenance work) on cranes, telehandler, forklift, boom truck.
5. Stage parts and prep tools needed for upcoming maintenance work.
6. Fabrication work
7. Assist in production roles as needed.
8. Computer skills for operating plant and train load out.
9. Electrical card (optional)

Work Schedule

Will work Monday Through Friday, some weekend work will be required. Overtime may be required by the supervisor or plant superintendent.

Position Summary

Employee must have general knowledge of prep plant equipment. Must be able to life more than 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must have the ability to climb and work off ladders, catwalks, and man-lifts. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb stairways.
