Your mission

You'll own the simulation and process development of our full DAC system — defining what needs to be tested, translating empirical findings into models, and turning those insights into robust scale-up decisions. Your work will lay the foundation for scaling and continuously improving our DAC technology.

Your profile

Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on separation technology or gas–liquid systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in experimental design, process testing, and data analysis.
  • Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, mass transfer, liquid distribution, and water management.
  • Experience with AspenPlus, KGTower, or similar simulation tools.
  • Familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, H&MBs, and process safety documentation.

  • Fast learner who quickly grasps complex topics and stays curious about the problem, not just the solution
  • Combines scientific rigour with pragmatic, hands-on, build-and-learn instincts

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and effective at working across cross-functional teams
  • Clear and direct communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with strong active listening skills

  • Valid Work Permit for Germany, or able to obtain a permit
  • Location: Exiting industrial Co-Working Space in Marzahn where we have our own industrial halls to build
