The Opportunity
As
Area Supervisor
, you will take responsibility for the supervision and performance of the security operation at an assigned client site.
You will be expected to
lead from the front
, maintain operational discipline, develop your team, building confidence with the client and continuously looking for opportunities to improve security, service delivery and guard performance.
Your responsibilities will include
- Leading, supervising and motivating the security team
- Maintaining consistently high standards of discipline, appearance and professionalism
- Driving guard performance, productivity and accountability
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with the client
- Ensuring security procedures, site instructions and company standards are consistently followed
- Proactively identifying risks, vulnerabilities and opportunities for operational improvement
- Working to reduce theft, property damage, security incidents and client complaints
- Managing attendance, deployment and operational readiness
- Ensuring incidents, accidents and injuries are appropriately managed, investigated and reported
- Taking proactive action to protect the safety and security of the client, employees and property
- Producing clear, accurate and professional reports
- Continuously seeking opportunities to improve client safety and client satisfaction

Experience Required
Candidates should have
- 3–5 years' experience as a Senior Team Leader within the security industry
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Security Supervisor role
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must also meet the following requirements
PSIRA Grade A – registered and up to date
Grade 12
- Medical Level 1–3
- Firefighting qualification/course
Valid Code 8 Driver's Licence
- Firearm Competency – Handgun
- Business Purposes – Handgun
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, neat and well-groomed appearance
- No criminal record
