As a QA Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and strengthening our Quality Management System while supporting daily operational quality activities. You will act as a trusted quality partner across the organization, helping ensure compliance, driving improvements, and promoting a strong quality culture throughout the business.
What will you do?
As QA Officer, you will be responsible for a broad range of operational quality activities, including
- Coordinating and leading operational quality meetings, including topics such as CAPA, product holds, and quality planning.
- Investigating and following up on non-conformities, complaints, and other quality-related events.
- Collaborating closely with internal departments and external manufacturing partners to resolve quality issues.
- Supporting and participating in both internal and external audits.
- Executing product release activities in accordance with established procedures.
- Monitoring bioburden and pyrogen testing activities.
- Managing and archiving quality documentation, including batch records and quality files.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for quality-related processes within the ERP system.
- Writing, reviewing, and maintaining quality procedures, work instructions, and other QMS documentation.
- Acting as a quality ambassador by promoting awareness, compliance, and continuous improvement across the organization.
- What do you bring?
To be successful in this role, you have
- A relevant technical education at MBO/MBO+ level.
- At least 2 years of experience in a quality-related position within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
- A proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to balance pragmatism, flexibility, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and Medical Device Regulations (preferred).
- Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
